I’ve changed. I have autism. I’m pretty sure I’m a genius. I’m only being arrogant if I’m wrong, right? Well,

October 7, 2018

Eugh what the hell is this font. Sorry about the long title, but I couldn’t just not say anything. Then again, I had other things to say, which is why I wanted to write in the first place. So, if you’ll excuse me:

Axiom 1: I’m an autistic genius
Axiom 2: Weed is well-known as an apparent creativity boost
Axiom 3: Weed seems to make my autism “worse”
Axiom 4: Monologuing is a symptom of autism

I could probably write some pretty good books about how I view the universe, with weed enough and time.

Halo 3 Beta & Channel 10

March 29, 2007

I’m pretty annoyed…Channel 10 told us about two major announcements coming.

The first was about the Xbox360 Elite…and the second was strongly rumored (Look at #6 on the list of things to do while XboxLive is down…the THIRD bullet point has the number 117 in it) to have something to do with Halo 3.

The second turned out to have to do with mobile phones. Not about a mobile phone specifically, or about an OS for mobile phones. Not about Live Anywhere on mobile phones, which if you stretched enough you could kind of see as deserving of being paired with the official announcement of the Xbox360 Elite. No. The “announcement” (if you can even call it that at all) was of a damn mobile phone web browser.

Wow…way to overhype and underdeliver – I for one am pissed. When I first saw the post, I refreshed the page again, looking for the real announcement. It wasn’t about being in denial, it was that I didn’t even understand what it was that I had seen.

It was like this:

“Hey, the announcement post is live! It’s a new mobile phone web browser!”

“Hahahaha. Nice…no really, when is the announcement going to be posted?”

EDIT: Apparently I was not alone in this respect [1]

Way to go Channel 10…I hadn’t heard of you before, but now I promise that I’ll never forget you.

“Oh you are SO booted now”

March 11, 2007

If you ever find yourself a game hosted by Tsukasa 0, (that’s a zero), in Gears of War, make sure not to use a pistol of any kind, a grenade of any kind, or to do better than him. If you do any of these things, he will boot you from the game. If you rejoin, he won’t boot you right away, but instead will wait until the round ends, and then boot you when the next round starts, giving you a sense of false hope that you will be able to play. When I asked him about why he does this, after being booted about a half a dozen times, he replied by booting me. Awesome.

“That is Bullsh*t!” [update]

March 10, 2007

Every time ravenpanic dies in Gears of War, he yells “That is Bullsh*t!”. There are other varieties, such as “That is SO Bullsh*t!”, and “That is TOTALLY Bullsh*t!”, but there are also those occasional screams of variations of the core message he is conveying including, but not limited to “That is COMPLETE Bullsh*t!”, “That is Bull-F*cking-Sh*t!” and, my personal favorite, “That Bullsh*t is BULLSH*T!” I sent him a message about this, polite as possible under the circumstances, and he replied with the following voice message:

Oh f*ck you, you little b*tch, you wish you were better than me
You ain’t gonna show me, you just a little f*cking 12-year-old who thinks he’s bad*ss
‘Cause he has little pubic hairs
I have f*cking pubic hair and I’m older than you, so kiss my *ss

Way to be classy, dude…way to be classy.

(I’m 17, by the way)

UPDATE: I sent him a text message over XboxLive containing a link to this blog post via tinyurl (http://tinyurl.com/2uwbve) and he replied with the following voice message:

What’s that, your f*cking site for f*cking gay porn?
Kiss my *ss you little b*tch

Not un-bad news

November 15, 2006

Remember this?  I got a 100% on the written portion of the test, and was doing great on the driving when the man asked me to park backwards in the shape of “r” where the “i” part of the “r” was the space that I was backing into.  For some reason, and I tried this several times after I left the DMV and failed then as well, I kept ending up straddling the line; always half a space to the left.

I did everything else well, and the guy said that I could come back on Monday and redo it.  Although that is kind of good news, in that I don’t have to retake the entire test again, it means that this weekend I will be without Gears of War, since my parents have restricted me from being driven anywhere besides the DMV until I get my license.  This sucks in a big way, and I mean big time…I’m really pissed off.

Sony admits 200 PS2 games not working on PS3

November 14, 2006

Come on, sony? Whatever happened to the “100% backwards compatibility?” did it go the way of your global launch of four million consoles? I mean, especially when the output cable for the format you’re erroneously claiming to be superior to the Xbox360 is not even going to be in the box. But hey, you’re sony, I’ll cut you some slack. I’ve heard about the problems you’ve been having lately…I understand that you’ve been under a lot of strain. That still doesn’t mean I feel sorry for the company that lies to it’s consumers

Best Buy never ceases to disappoint

October 9, 2006

Q: Can the Xbox 360 core system play x-box games?

A: Yes; most Xbox games are compatible with the Xbox 360 Core System. Over 90% of the games will work so it should not be a problem.

Do I even need to write a post about this? Do I really need to explain this?? Let us count how many things are wrong with this:

  1. The Xbox360 core system does not come with a hard drive, and thus does not have the emulation software needed to run original Xbox games in backwards compatability mode.
  2. It is not 90% of the games, it’s less than half
  3. It’s not the Xbox games that are compatable with the Xbox, it’s the Xbox360 that’s compatable with the games!
